Are you looking to export customers in Magento 2?
Magento is a sophisticated ecommerce platform with many features to run a successful ecommerce store. In this article, we will learn to export customers in Magento 2 in easy steps.
Why Export Customers?
You might have a reason to export the customer list, but generally, there are three reasons behind it.
Marketing: The first one reason is Marketing. You can use Magento to send emails and newsletters to customers. But if you want something feature-rich and advanced, third-party software like Klaviyo and Mailchimp are better options. You will need the customer’s email address to run the email campaigns. Besides emails, if you are running Facebook ads, you can add your customer’s email address to find similar personalities.

Migration: Whether you’re migrating from Magento 1 to Magento 2 or upgrading the Magento version, you should take a complete backup of the Magento store. For additional security, you can also export the customer list. Though it is rare, your customer list would be safe if something happened.
Portability: You would not like to give access to the store to someone else just to share the customer list. Exporting the customer list allows you to share the customer list with relevant departments like marketing and sales.
